Six Things I Like About Summer:

    1. Warm sunny days--I love it when the sun is shining and it's about 80 degrees with a bright blue sky!
    2. Outdoor sports (like volleyball) and activities with friends
    3. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables
    4. Summer clothes
    5. Laying in the cool grass and looking up at the sky
    6. Beautiful fresh flowers

So here are some things I like about the season. Do any of you have summer favorites?

I agree heartily with all of your favorites, Abigail! Without giving it too much thought, something that I like about summer did pop into my head. I love when it is light, not to mention warm, when I wake up in the morning. It makes it so much easier to get up! Unfortunately, it is already starting to be dark when I get up.

I love summer! Can you believe that it will be over in less than a month? I usually am in denial until November, when I HAVE to start wearing shoes.

And yes, laying out in the grass and looking at the sky is magical, both in daytime and night. I've done it excessively this year and it is now officially a favorite past time.
    God bless!

Hmm. Well, I like it when the sun is shining and it's about 70 degrees, hehe. I'm a spring/fall person. But, I'm sure I can still think of six things I like about summer.

    1. Hanging out the laundry and having it dry withing a few hours!
    2. Letting the boys play in the wading pool.
    3. Thunderstorms!
    4. Lots of fresh produce.
    5. Taking the boys to playdates with their friends. (Andy and his friends will all be in preschool this fall, so the playdates will be few and far between.)
    6. Having the shower water stay hot long enough to wash my hair.
